The Real Fyre PB-18A Pan Burner is engineered to create a striking flame presentation by spreading fire evenly across the entire surface of the burner pan. At 18 inches, this vented burner is compact yet powerful, producing tall, dramatic flames that work beautifully in both modern and transitional fireplace designs. Its versatile pan design makes it ideal for see-thru, peninsula, or island-style fireplaces where flame visibility from multiple angles is desired.

This burner is compatible with a wide array of Real Fyre media options, giving homeowners the ability to fully customize their fireplace. It works seamlessly with traditional ceramic log sets as well as modern alternatives such as Fyre Glass, Fyre Gems, Fyre Spheres, and Diamond Nuggets. This flexibility allows the PB-18A to adapt to both classic hearth looks and bold contemporary designs.

Delivering up to 43,000 BTUs with natural gas or 36,000 BTUs with propane, the PB-18A balances strong performance with versatility. ANSI-certified versions are available in the 18-inch size with factory-installed safety valves, while simpler match-lit configurations are also offered. With its pan-wide flame coverage and RH Peterson’s craftsmanship, the PB-18A provides a dynamic and customizable centerpiece for vented fireplaces.

Match Lit

Match lit burners are available in natural gas only. They are lit by turning the gas flow on with your key valve and tossing a match or an equivalent flame source near the burners gas supply. You can control the flame height by adjusting your key valve.

Manual Valve Standing Pilot

This features a safety pilot light that is lit and remains on constantly. To turn on the burner, you would turn the control knob to allow for a heavier gas flow. This knob can also be used to control the flame height.

Basic on/off remote

This control type includes a safety pilot, a remote and a remote receiver. The remote has the ability to turn the flame on and off while keeping the pilot lit. There is no way to adjust the flame height in intervals.

Basic on/off Remote Variable Flame

This control type includes a safety pilot, a remote and a remote receiver. The remote has the ability to turn the flame on and off while keeping the pilot lit. Both the remote and the knobs on the valve can adjust the flame height.

Basic on/off RemoteLow Profile, Variable Flame

The only differences between this control type and Basic On/Off Remote, Variable Flame is that it is smaller and lower to the ground, and does not include a decorative cover.

Basic on/off RemoteElectric, Variable Flame

This features a non standing pilot with electric ignition. The pilot is ignited electrically via the remote, which then ignites the burner. When it is lit, the pilot goes out. The remote and remote receiver are battery operated, and there is no way to adjust the flame height.

Basic on/off RemoteElectronic, Variable Flame

The only difference between this control type and Electric Basic On/Off Remote is that the flame height is controllable via the remote.
